The Content Engineering Notebook

“The technical writer who codes, and the pipeline that ships the writing.”

How I Run Claude Code as a Content Pipeline

A home-grown rig that drafts, reviews, and publishes long-form content for a developer audience. Claude Code handles the prose work, Python hits the Ahrefs API for keyword gaps, and the output gets a GEO/AEO pass so it surfaces inside ChatGPT. The newsletter that came out of it reached 9,000 subscribers and 540,000 monthly organic visits.

What “Content Engineering” Actually Means

The role title is new but the work is familiar to anyone who has treated content as a system rather than a deliverable. A short definition, three tests, and one honest confession about the parts that still need a human.
